This is fantastic. A pregnant woman is all alone after her husband has died in a car crash. One night a woman shows up to her house demanding to get in and claiming to want her baby This is a good pregnancy horror as well as a good home invasion horror as well as a good mystery thriller.
The performances are great, the suspense is real and the action is intense. I love how contained the story is and the frenetic pace makes the film fly by.
Definite recommend. Relentlessly hopeless more than frightening, more gross-out gore than genuine thrills. There's an overall feeling of desperation rather than terror, frustration more than fear.
Filled with bursts of bloody insanity but other than what the violence might make it seem, Inside seems to be trying to say something more than your average genre slasher; I just wish it was a little more clear on what that something could possibly be.
Fucking hell!! This was one palm sweatingly intense 80 minutes, I've no idea how it's taken me so long to watch this, I've seen most of the other French horror films that came out around the same time and the dvd has sat on my self for years now but for some reason I've never watched it until now.
A visceral assault that hooks you in after the first minute and keeps you one the edge of your seat until the credits role, brutal and unflinching in it's portrayal of violence, there were times I was literally shielding my eyes from the terror of what was unfolding on the screen.

Nachdem mir "Frontier s " doch ziemlich gut gefallen hatte, legte ich meine Vorurteile gegen französische Filme ab und habe mir nun auch "Inside" angesehen. Auch das Finale ist wie zu erwarten unnötigerweise total abartig und übertrieben.
