I found myself rooting for the main characters, whose life and choices are the center point of the series. If you find yourself disappointed, it's because the characters' lives mirror real life--you gain some, and you lose some.
Whatever can go wrong, does go wrong. I would have loved to see a 2nd season. This series does not get much spotlight on MHz, but deserves a look.
I don't know who is picking the film series now. This one and Spring Tide are new series on MHz and they are both losers.
If you like self indulgent, impulsive, violent, one expression characters, Blochin is for you. It's all about him and he is not interesting.
His captain is an excellent actor, but does not get to steer this thing, so it is an abysmal failure as is Spring Tide. I can't help but thing MHz is now getting films that will attract a young crowd or a geriatric crowd who aren't interested in story but just load noises or action.
Such a shame. One person found this helpful. Very well. Very well done. Story is compelling, sad. More toward real life drama with no heros.
