Summer Bishil as Princess Azula : Age fourteen. She appears once at the battle where Zuko refuses to fight and again at the end where she accepts the role as hunter of her older brother and uncle, and destroyer of the Avatar.
Isaac Jin Solstein as Haru: He started the prison uprising by earthbending a pebble to the back of the lead Fire Nation soldier's head. Keong Sim as Tyro: He and other earthbenders in his occupied village agreed to be imprisoned in exchange for the non-benders being allowed to live in peace.
He is long dead by the time Aang is awakened, having died when the Fire Nation first attacked the Air Nomads years prior to the events of the film.

Die Beherrschung dieses Zustands ist sehr schwierig und kann nur gelingen, wenn der Avatar sein inneres Gleichgewicht findet, indem alle sieben Chakren geöffnet wurden.
Wut oder Verzweiflung können eine unkontrollierte Form dieses Zustands hervorrufen. Des Weiteren bildet der Avatar die Brücke zwischen der materiellen und der Geisterwelt.
Sein Körper bleibt dabei in der materiellen Welt und das Bändigen der Elemente ist ihm nicht möglich. Die vier Nationen hatten friedlich zusammen existiert, bis die Feuernation den anderen den Krieg erklärte.
Der Avatar, der dies hätte verhindern können, verschwand jedoch. Zusammen mit dessen fliegendem Bison Appa und dem ebenso flugfähigem Lemur Momo treten sie eine Reise an, auf der Aang lernen muss, die anderen Elemente zu meistern, damit er den Feuerlord Ozai aufhalten und so den Krieg beenden kann.
Aang wird eröffnet, dass er der letzte Luftbändiger ist und sein ganzes Volk durch die Feuernation ums Leben gekommen ist. Darüber hinaus erfährt Aang von Avatar Rokus Geist, dass sich am Ende des Sommers ein Komet nähern wird, der die Kraft der Feuerbändiger erheblich stärken und somit das Gleichgewicht der Elemente empfindlich stören wird.
Auf ihrem Weg werden die drei Freunde von der Feuernation verfolgt. Zuko, der verbannte Kronprinz der Feuernation, hofft durch die Gefangennahme des Avatars seine Ehre wiederzuerlangen.
Er wird dabei von seinem Onkel, General Iroh, begleitet. In Admiral Zhao findet sich ein weiterer starker Widersacher Aangs, der es sich ebenfalls zur Aufgabe gemacht hat, den Avatar zu fangen.
Zhao wird von Geistern in die Geisterwelt verschleppt und seine Flotte von Aang, der sich mit dem Geist des Meeres verbunden hat, vernichtet.
Letztlich findet Aang seinen Meister für das Wasserbändigen in Katara. Auf ihrer weiteren Reise finden die Gefährten in einer Bibliothek Informationen, die eine Wende im Krieg gegen die Feuernation bringen können.
Noch bevor Zosins Komet am Ende des Sommers zurückkehrt, wird eine Sonnenfinsternis stattfinden, welche die Feuernation erheblich schwächen wird.
Denn bei einer Sonnenfinsternis können Feuerbändiger nicht bändigen. Doch erweist sich das Vorhaben als schwierig, da zum einen Appa zeitweilig entführt wird und die Machthaber in Ba Sing Se die Existenz des Krieges leugnen.
Sie hoffen, in Ba Sing Se unter den zahlreichen Flüchtlingen sicher zu sein. Die Gefährten müssen mit dem Erdkönig fliehen. Mit Ba Sing Se fällt das gesamte Erdkönigreich.
Aang und seine Gefährten dringen in Feuernationskleidung in die Feuernation ein und planen die Invasion für den Tag der schwarzen Sonne, eine Sonnenfinsternis, während derer alle Feuerbändiger unfähig sind ihr Element zu beschwören.
Dies ist somit der perfekte Zeitpunkt, den Feuerlord anzugreifen und ihn zu besiegen. Das muss jedoch sehr schnell geschehen, da die Sonnenfinsternis nur 8 Minuten andauert.
Am Tag der schwarzen Sonne erleiden die Freunde jedoch eine Niederlage, da sie nicht bis zum Feuerlord vordringen können. Dieser wusste von den Invasionsplänen, da seine Tochter Azula durch einen Hinterhalt an jene Informationen gelangen konnte.
Somit war die Feuernation auf das Vorhaben von Aang und seinen Begleitern vorbereitet und Feuerlord Ozai konnte sich rechtzeitig verstecken. Er wird Aangs Lehrer für das Feuerbändigen.
Derweil besiegen Zuko und Katara die wahnsinnig gewordene Azula. Aang tötet den Feuerlord nicht, da dies seiner pazifistischen Natur widerspräche, doch entzieht er Ozai die Fähigkeit des Feuerbändigens.
Damit ist der Krieg zu Ende und Zuko wird neuer Feuerlord. Er gelobt, die Welt wieder aufzubauen und mit den anderen Nationen in Frieden zu leben.
Die erste Staffel der Serie wurde von Nickelodeon produziert und ab dem Februar auf diesem Sender ausgestrahlt.
Da die erste Staffel erfolgreich war, folgten weitere zwei. Die dritte Staffel lief ab dem September in den USA. In Deutschland wird Avatar seit dem 8.
November lief die letzte Folge der dritten Staffel. In Österreich wurde die erste Staffel von Avatar vom April bis in den Juni auf ORF 1 ausgestrahlt.
Am Der Inhalt gleicht inhaltlich der zuvor erschienenen Blu-ray aus den Vereinigten Staaten, bietet jedoch als Sprachen Englisch, Französisch, Niederländisch und Deutsch sowie englische Untertitel und ein exklusives Artwork-Design an.
Eine deutsche Veröffentlichung blieb aus. Die Erstausstrahlung erfolgte in den USA ab dem April August Die Legende von Korra wird ab Juni ebenfalls als Comic fortgesetzt.
Aktuell ist nur eine Trilogie mit dem Titel Turf Wars angekündigt. Die Handlung setzt nahtlos an das Ende der Serie fort. Eine Veröffentlichung des offiziellen Soundtracks ist noch nicht geschehen, da der Fernsehsender Nickelodeon die Rechte zurückhält [12].
Für die Dialogregie war Dr. Harald Wolff verantwortlich. Zu Avatar erschienen folgende Computer- bzw. Diese wurden allesamt von THQ Entertainment entwickelt.
Der Kinostart in Deutschland war der September wurde bekanntgegeben, dass Konietzko und DiMartino für Netflix eine Realserien-Adaption ihrer eigenen Serie produzieren und verwirklichen werden.
Eine erste Konzeptzeichnung wurde vorgestellt, die Produktion soll in Zusammenarbeit mit Nickelodeon beginnen.
